Welcome to AutoGo Car Rental! By accessing or using our website (https://autogo.com.ph) and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read these carefully. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

1. Definitions

• “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to AutoGo Car Rental.
• “You,” “your,” or “customer” refers to the individual using our services or website.
• “Vehicle” refers to any car or vehicle rented from AutoGo Car Rental.
• “Rental Agreement” refers to the contract between AutoGo Car Rental and the customer regarding vehicle rental services.

2. Rental Requirements

To rent a vehicle from AutoGo Car Rental, you must meet the following criteria:

• Be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Provide a valid government-issued ID and driver’s license at the time of booking.
• Present a valid credit or debit card for the payment and security deposit.

3. Reservations and Payments

• Booking: All reservations are subject to vehicle availability and must be made in advance through our website or phone.
• Payment: A valid credit or debit card must be used for reservation and payment. You agree to pay all rental fees, including any additional charges, taxes, or penalties as outlined in your rental agreement.
• Security Deposit: A security deposit may be required at the time of rental, which will be refunded upon the return of the vehicle in satisfactory condition.
• Cancellations: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled rental time to avoid a cancellation fee.

4. Rental Duration and Return

• Rental Period: The rental period is the time agreed upon in the rental contract. Late returns may incur additional charges.
• Vehicle Return: Vehicles must be returned in the same condition as when rented, except for normal wear and tear. The vehicle should be returned with the same amount of fuel as at the start of the rental.
• Late Returns: Late returns will result in additional charges as per the rates provided at the time of booking.

5. Use of Vehicle

• Authorized Drivers: Only the customer and additional drivers listed in the rental agreement are authorized to drive the vehicle.
• Prohibited Uses: You must not:
  • Use the vehicle for illegal activities.
  • Use the vehicle for racing or any competitive events.
  • Drive the vehicle outside designated areas unless expressly permitted in writing.
  • Operate the vehicle under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other intoxicating substances.

Failure to comply with these rules may result in the termination of your rental and legal actions.

6. Insurance and Liability

• Insurance Coverage: Insurance coverage will be provided as part of the rental agreement, including liability insurance. Additional insurance or protection plans may be available at an extra cost.
• Damage: You are responsible for any damage to the vehicle, whether caused by an accident, misuse, or negligence, up to the deductible stated in your rental agreement. In the event of damage, you must notify AutoGo Car Rental immediately.
• Accidents: In case of an accident, you must provide a detailed accident report and cooperate with the authorities and AutoGo Car Rental.

7. Fines and Penalties

You are responsible for all fines, penalties, towing fees, and impound costs incurred during the rental period, including traffic violations and parking tickets. Any fines received by AutoGo Car Rental after the rental period will be charged to your credit card on file.

8. Modifications and Cancellations by AutoGo Car Rental

AutoGo Car Rental reserves the right to cancel or modify your reservation in the event of unforeseen circumstances, such as vehicle unavailability, safety concerns, or weather conditions. In such cases, you will be notified immediately, and we will offer a suitable alternative or full refund.

9. Limitation of Liability

AutoGo Car Rental is not liable for:

• Any loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings left in the vehicle.
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the rental, use, or inability to use our services, even if AutoGo Car Rental was advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our maximum liability shall be limited to the amount paid for the rental services.

10. Force Majeure

AutoGo Car Rental will not be held responsible for any failure to perform its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of God, war, terrorism, or governmental actions.

11. Amendments to Terms

AutoGo Car Rental reserves the right to update, modify, or amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Effective Date.” Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your agreement to the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines.
