The two freeports are linked by expressway, so you can leave after breakfast, spend the day by the sea and the jungle, and be back for dinner. Having your own car makes it simple to hop between spots that are spread out.

Self-drive or chauffeur?
This is one of the best routes for self-drive. The expressway is straightforward, roads inside Subic are well kept, and parking is easy compared to Manila. If you would rather relax on the way, a driver can take you door to door. Compare both in our self-drive vs. chauffeur guide.
